Over the past three decades, Vogt has established extraordinary relationships with some of the most admired service providers, media networks, global IT companies, banks, and research firms across the globe. He has successfully secured more than $1 billion in working capital in the form of debt and equity since 2000 and has extensive restructuring, integration and rebranding experience in orchestrating 15 acquisitions, divestitures, and sales as a CEO.
Vogt currently serves as President and CEO of ATX Networks, a global leader of access and video distribution solutions serving the cable, satellite, IPTV, wireless, and enterprise markets.
Previously as CEO of Imagine Communications, a world-leading provider of video software and unified distribution solutions to more than 1,500 TV Networks and Broadcasters spanning 185 countries, Vogt transformed the company, creating a new brand and a new strategic direction, successfully integrating four technology acquisitions and delivering a steady flow of industry-changing innovation.
During Vogt’s eight-year tenure as CEO of GENBAND, a global leader in IP networking and software solutions, the company acquired and integrated ten companies, expanded its operations to more than 50 countries, and secured 80 percent of the world’s largest service providers as customers. Under his leadership, the company experienced a compound annual growth rate of 110 percent and increased operational earnings 9-fold. In 2012, The Wall Street Journal recognized GENBAND as the no. 1 privately-backed company in America, topping a list of 5,900 companies.

Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Beijing, China, Beijing Jetsen Technology Company designs, develops, and implements integrated audio and video solutions to the radio, film, television, defense, research, government, and education industries.It provides media asset management systems, information security systems, non-linear editing systems, integrated network solutions, and station monitoring and surveillance solutions.
Shengli is an advisor to Livu(a developer of real-time video technologies for broadcasters)as well asInstrimpexsince 2012. He is also the board Director of Auro Technology, a Belgium next-generation 3D and immersive soundcompany.
Shengli has been a senior leader for several publicly traded and international companies that included expensive corporate investments and acquisitions. He led and drove successful market share gains at Thomson Broadcast, Technicolor, Grass Valley, Envivio, and Thales Broadcast in China. He also led the team that built the early standards for Provincial Converged New Media Platforms in China. Some of the investments and acquisitions he managed were CDV Cloud Ltd, a cloud solutions and service provider for media and broadcasters, 4U (Beijing) Technology Ltd, an AI-based facial recognition for animation video production company, and Auro Technologies n.v., the world leader in 3D sound technologies. He has also represented major global brands in the greater China region including Grass Valley, Avid, Ross, Thomson Broadcast, and others.
Shengli will focus on has been instrumental in BDC’s investment in Grass Valley and will continue to provide actionable insightsto support media, broadcasting, and international endeavors brought to the fund and its portfolio companies.
Shengliearned his MBA from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis in France. He received a Master’sdegree in Electronics from Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI), a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from China Communication University, and received Executive Training in 2007 from Harvard Business School.

Mo Hussein is an Advisor specializing in Technology and Spend Management at Black Dragon Capital. Mr. Hussein has over a decade of experience in technology, contract negotiations, and vendor management in both federal and private sectors.
Most recently, Mr. Hussein managed a robust portfolio of vendor engagements at GE Healthcare. Prior to GE Healthcare, he spent a large part of his career building and operating contracts and procurement functions at technology companies. Mr. Hussein spent a good part of his career at Avid Technology and was part of Louis Hernandez, Jr.’s team-leading Avid’s dramatic transformation.
Mr. Hussein is passionate about the convergence of media content and technology and has decades of experience building web-based businesses.
Mr. Hussein earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

Darla Marasco is a creative media professional with decades of experience. She focuses on advising Black Dragon on its media- and content-related projects. The founder of full-service production company Marasco Media, she was previously an SVP of Post Production and Executive Producer at MAX Post/Original Productions where she managed over 50 series and for broadcast networks including Discovery, A&E, History, NatGeo, Bravo, Travel, NBC and CBS. As a Computer Art Director, her credits include the Dungeons and Dragons games series. Marasco began her career as a Visual Effects Artist; credits include The Terminator, Dune, and Texas Chainsaw feature films.

David Dame has more than 30 years of operating, consulting, and investing experience, including functional leadership roles and executive positions in sales, marketing, services, and research and development. Dame assists in the operational aspects of the Black Dragon portfolio and serves as the Chairman of Payveris. His previous experience includes Operating Partner for Sorenson Capital, Managing Director at Huntsman Gay Global Capital, Partner with KPP, and Managing Director at KVP. Dame also co-founded a consulting business that merged with IBM Consulting Group. He received an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.

Irwin Kramer has experience building software and service companies into global leaders in the supply chain, marketing, and e-commerce systems from the startup phase, and is a pioneer in supply chain enterprise systems and e-commerce for retail manufacturing and distribution companies. Kramer serves as Chairman of the board of directors for two Black Dragon portfolio companies, Digital Goodie and EnterWorks. He is the treasurer and an executive committee member of the Jewish General Hospital Foundation and is the Founder of iCongo. He was also the Founder, Chairman, President, and CEO of Richter Systems International. Kramer received an MBA from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from McGill University. He is a member of Quebec and Canadian Order of Chartered Accountants.

Nasseri serves on the Apple Advisory Reseller Board, and as the President and Chair of the AVID Customer Association for the Reseller Channel. Nasseri also serves on the board of The Book Foundation and actively supports Alexandria House in Los Angeles. She is a veteran of the Israeli military and promotes veteran hiring in both her own company and those of her colleagues. Nasseri earned her degree in electronics and electrical engineering at ORT Technical Institute.

Mohamed Abuagla has more than 25 years of experience in business transformation and technology at established enterprises, government organizations, startups, and business ventures in the education, finance, healthcare, telecom, defense, and media industries. He has been recognized with numerous executive awards for his role in the digital transformation of the media industry in the Middle East and North Africa. At Black Dragon, he advises on media and technology investments and is involved in operational improvements within the media portfolio. Abuagla is an executive board member of the International Broadcast Convention Council, an advisory board member of the Grass Valley Customer Council, and an executive member of the SAP Advisory Council for Media. Previously, he served as the Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer of Al Jazeera Media Network. Abuagla earned a degree in systems engineering from George Mason University.
Raju “Raj” Shivdasani has more than 40 years of executive-level experience running large technology companies. At Black Dragon, Shivdasani advises on financial technology investments. Previously, Shivdasani was the Chief Executive Officer of Harland Financial Solutions, a subsidiary of Harland Clarke Holdings Corp. Earlier roles include President and COO of Phoenix International, Group Executive Vice President of FiServ’s bank services sector, President of FiServ CBS Worldwide, and senior management positions at Citicorp Information Resources. He also co-founded Vista Financial Systems and served on IBM’s AS/400 Strategic Advisory Board. Shivdasani holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from St. Xavier’s College, India, a diploma in computer programming and technology from Control Data Institute, Los Angeles, and a Certificate in Applied Mergers and Acquisitions from the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia.

He developed PC Charge, a PC-based credit card processing software, and Bluepay Payment Gateway, one of the fastest payment gateways. Caviles patented an e-commerce automation tool, Online App™. He serves as an executive board member of Turning Pointe Autism Foundation and a member of the board of directors of the AMITA Health Foundation.
Patrick Macdonald-King has extensive deal-making, strategic planning, and tactical management experience in enterprise cloud applications and digital media, and expertise in the content supply chain and associated services. Macdonald-King currently serves on 4 Advisory Boards and is an angel investor with Tech Coast Angels. Previously, he led capital raise and roll-up of three companies, including his own, to form DAX. As Founder and CEO, Macdonald-King led the combined companies to become the most widely used media asset management and cloud workflow application in the world. The DAX SaaS platform has been awarded five patents, scaled to 75% market share, and was recognized with a Primetime Emmy for transitioning the television industry to a file-based workflow. Macdonald-King was also President of PFT, Americas Region.

Dr. Andreas Bereczky has 30 years of IT and media experience. Dr. Bereczky is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Software AG and GFT Technologies AG and a member of the Research Circle “Münchner Kreis.” Previously, Dr. Bereczky was Executive Vice President of Production and Engineering at ZDF German Television, where he was responsible for transferring the station’s channels from SD to HD production and distribution. Under his management, the first VoD service of the public broadcaster in Germany went live. Prior to joining ZDF, Dr. Bereczky worked with Bull Computer AG and Debis Systemhaus and was a Managing Director at T-Systems Service Line Systems Integration. He was awarded the National Leadership Award in IT Services and Multimedia (2005) from the German Economic Forum. Dr. Bereczky earned a master’s degree in aircraft engineering and a Ph.D. from the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH).

At Open Solutions, he was the primary architect of the award-winning open API banking suite, DNA. Desai was also part of the digital transformation of Barclaycard and helped develop the cloud-based operating system, Avid Everywhere, for Avid.
