Benson Porter is a seasoned financial services executive with more than 30 years of experience leading accelerated growth strategies, executing extensive corporate development strategic moves, and developing organizational cultures that are differentiated on delivery and superior customer service.

Benson’s executive experience spans international, national, and regional firms, and is augmented with Board leadership experience that reflects his people-first, team-building approach.

Benson’s career is high-lighted by several notable mergers/acquisitions:

• Involvement with over 30 acquisitions supporting Washington Mutual’s national expansion

• Led the largest merger in the credit union industry as the surviving chief executive in the First Tech and Addison Avenue merger in 2011.

• Built financial performance and the strategic sale of a wholly owned third party broker-dealer serving financial institutions, negotiating the sale of Essex National Securities (ENSI) to a Goldman Sachs partner in 2012.

• Became the surviving Board Chairman for the merger between Federal Home Loans Bank of Seattle and the Federal Home Loans Bank of Des Moines.
