Rumi Contractor is the President and COO of Quinnox, and brings a distinctive leadership background & style to this role. Over the span of his 35-year career, Rumi has had the good fortune of combining his global executive career in technology alongside business operations within the Financial Services industry and used his colorful and vast experience to provide technology-based services to clients across multiple industries, markets and geographies in order for them to harvest and deliver on their business strategies.
While at HSBC, Rumi held roles such as CIO, COO & CEO at different times and across multiple geographies, including the US, UK, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Brazil, Middle East and India. Prior to his current endeavor in the technology consulting sector, Rumi was the Global Head of Service Delivery & Group General Manager of HSBC responsible for all HSBC business processes and operations on a global basis.
Before that, he was the CEO of HSBC Global Resourcing (KPO and BPO) and CEO of the HSBC Global Technology Centers (GLT) in India, China, Poland and Brazil – these centers were the software development hubs for the entire HSBC Group IT organization and were responsible for developing the HSBC Core Technologies and Applications on a worldwide basis.
